How many sessions per week is ideal for a child aged 10 to 13?
Our recommendation is one to two sessions per week, totalling three to four sessions per month. This rhythm builds momentum without tiring your child after school hours. During junior high entrance interview or competition prep, frequency can temporarily rise to two sessions per week across the intensive period.
May parents accompany the child during the session?
For in-person sessions parents are welcome in the same room but we suggest keeping a listening distance so your child feels more relaxed to speak. For online sessions, parents can sit in during the first five minutes to make sure the connection is fine, then give private space to your child and the tutor.
