Britemy Signature

Business Writing Coaching That Reaches Into Your Work Documents

Britemy Business Writing tutors are adult-education specialists who understand modern work documents. We pair you with a tutor who can unpack executive email, analysis reports, and commercial proposals at the level of tone and structure, well above basic grammar correction.

Many Indonesian professionals already write grammatically clean English sentences yet stumble at document tone and structure. Britemy closes this gap through coaching that emphasises diction and argument flow, the two areas that most often decide whether your document gets read all the way through.

1

Four core document templates

We equip you with four working templates: three-paragraph email, business report with executive summary plus findings, proposal with problem plus solution plus ask, and MoU boilerplate. Templates are taught as flexible frames that you can modify to your context.

2

Live editing inside the session

You write on-screen alongside the tutor. Sentences fresh off your keyboard are commented on immediately, generic words are flagged, roundabout paragraphs are broken up. You feel the executive writing process that is rarely visible in a group class.

3

Tone and register per audience

We train you to feel the difference between writing to the board, external clients, cross-border colleagues, and internal teammates. The differences touch salutations, sentence length, active or passive use, and closing choices.

4

Basic legal boilerplate

For professionals who need to prepare MoU drafts or commercial proposals, we review basic legal boilerplate such as confidentiality, term, termination, and governing law. This boilerplate is standard English that you can understand before bringing the draft to the legal team.

The business writing ladder you climb
  1. Level 1Writing standard three-paragraph email with a clear structure
  2. Level 2Composing business reports with a sharp executive summary
  3. Level 3Writing commercial proposals with a problem solution ask structure
  4. Level 4Preparing MoU drafts with standard legal boilerplate

You are not required to pass every level. Your tutor adjusts the order based on the work documents you are handling right now.

Tutor Credentials

Britemy Tutor Standards for Business Writing

Britemy Business Writing tutors are curated through a teaching interview, an adult-class material check, and verification of certifications where available. We stay transparent about the tutor who will accompany your writing process.

  • TESOL or CELTA

A share of our Business Writing tutors hold TESOL or CELTA, two international standard qualifications for adult English teaching.

  • Corporate classroom experience

Tutors have coached multinational and Indonesian startup employees and understand the demands of modern work documents from executive email to commercial proposals.

  • Familiar with multiple style guides

Tutors know the conventions of modern business writing, from the plain English movement to Wall Street Journal journalistic style that executive writers often reference.

  • Professional writing portfolio

Several Britemy tutors have professional writing portfolios for companies and media, carrying editorial discipline that is rarely found in ordinary grammar classes.

Britemy does not claim that every tutor is a native English speaker. We protect the transparency of the tutor profile matched with you.

Method

How Britemy Trains Your Business Writing

Britemy's method follows the writing flow used by executive writers: outline first, quick draft, structural revision, surface polish. You write live in the session while your tutor guides each stage.

01

Outline before writing

The first session introduces the habit of outlining. Before the first sentence is written, you map the document's objective, audience, and key points in three to five bullets. A mature outline cuts down later revision time and keeps the document consistently focused.

02

Fast draft without polish

You write a quick draft in the session without polishing spelling or diction. The point is to pour thoughts onto the page as fast as possible. Your tutor watches the tempo and reminds you never to stop for word corrections, since polish arrives at the next stage.

03

Structural revision

Once the draft is done, you and the tutor scan the structure: does the opening grab attention, does the body flow logically, does the closing lead the audience to action. Misplaced sentences are moved, paragraphs stacked with ideas are split, and the order of arguments is tidied up.

04

Polish diction and tone

The final stage polishes word choice, tone, and register. Your tutor marks generic words that could be sharpened, roundabout phrases that could be shortened, and passive sentences better rendered active. The register difference between formal to the board and semi-formal to teammates is practised here.

05

Written feedback after the session

After the session you receive written notes with three points: two areas that are already strong and one area to deepen next week. The notes become a progress trail you can reopen before writing the next document.

06

Regular writing homework

Every session closes with a short writing task for the coming week, for example one executive summary paragraph or one follow-up email. Small volume keeps practice consistent without overloading a busy work schedule.

Pertanyaan Umum

Questions Professional Writers Ask Us Most

How long until my writing style feels tidier?
Tempo varies with your starting level, the type of document you write, and how consistently you practise. As a rough guide, a B1 writer with three to four sessions per month usually starts feeling the change in the first draft after two months. We guide you up from your current position without promising a fixed outcome by a set date.
Does the tutor edit my work documents directly?
Yes, that is the core of Britemy Business Writing coaching. You bring the document you are writing, and the tutor edits paragraph by paragraph with you in the session. You see the executive writing process live, from flagging generic words to breaking up paragraphs that stack ideas. This is an experience rarely found in a group class.
Can sessions run after office hours or on weekends?
Yes. We open evening slots from six until nine in the evening and weekend slots across Saturday and Sunday. These slots are designed for professionals with packed schedules. Schedule changes are allowed six hours before a session with no credit deducted, so sudden deadlines do not burn your session.
What if I need IELTS Task 2 or TOEFL Writing preparation?
Britemy focuses on Business Writing for professional work documents. For Writing test preparation such as TOEFL, IELTS Task 2, or other international tests, we point you to Exademy as the sister brand that handles score strategy. If you need both at once, we coordinate across the brands.
Can the tutor help with MoU drafts or commercial proposals?
Yes, we provide MoU and commercial proposal modules in the curriculum. The tutor reviews structure, basic legal boilerplate, and the right style for each. Note that final legal documents still need review by the legal team or a notary; Britemy sessions train you to compose the initial draft ready for review, complementing professional legal consultation.
What if the company wants to sponsor classes for an internal writer team?
We provide a writer team coaching package for three to five participants from one department, suitable for PR, marketing, or corporate communications teams. Custom curriculum is built around team content types. HR is welcome to continue the discussion on WhatsApp to align the timeline and budget.
Are the documents I bring to a session safe?
The drafts you bring are treated as confidential. The Britemy team keeps your work information private in line with professional ethics. If your company has a stricter NDA policy, we are ready to sign the document before sessions begin. This procedure is discussed during tutor matching.

Why Britemy

Why Professionals Choose Britemy for Business Writing

One tutor per writer

The 60-minute session belongs entirely to your document. Your tutor remembers your writing style, your recurring mistake patterns, and the document target you are working on, so momentum builds instead of resetting.

Live editing on your work document

The session material is the document you are writing: an email to a client, a monthly report, a proposal for an internal tender. You are never practising on simulation problems disconnected from your job.

Focused on four core document types

Formal email, business reports, commercial proposals, and MoU drafts are the work documents most often needed by professionals. We go deep on all four with in-session writing.

Written feedback after the session

After every session you receive notes with three evaluation points. The notes are a progress trail you can reopen before the next document, keeping corrections fresh in memory.

Flexible evening and weekend scheduling

Slots open after office hours and across the weekend. Schedule changes are allowed six hours before a session with no credit deducted, matching the rhythm of professionals with sudden deadlines.

Focused on real workplace writing

Native vs Local

Native or Local Tutor for Your Business English?

For multinational professionals, tutor choice depends on your role and interactions. Here is honest per-dimension comparison so you can choose with proper judgment.

Accent for global clients
Native

Truly native accent. Fits if you often deal with US/UK/AU HQ.

Local

Clean international accent. Overseas MBA alumni are equivalent.

Britemy pick

Native if executive role daily communication with HQ. Local sufficient for managerial role with mixed expats.

Business vocabulary and idiom
Native

Ex-corporate native understands vocab and business idiom naturally.

Local

MNC/MBA alumni local tutor can break down vocab to Indonesian context with local case studies.

Britemy pick

Native to polish natural idiom. Local for vocab applicable in your context.

Meeting facilitation nuance
Native

Native understands Western meeting dynamics: turn-taking, disagreement etiquette, humor timing.

Local

Local tutor can bridging: when to respect Indonesian colleague, when direct with expat.

Britemy pick

Both fit. Choose based on your target audience: HQ vs mixed local team.

Cultural sensitivity
Native

Native varies. Some understand Indonesian context well, some do not.

Local

Local tutor understands Indonesian work culture and can bridge to Western norms.

Britemy pick

Local for bridging role. Native for full immersion Western culture.

Case study and roleplay
Native

Native brings Western case studies that may be abstract for your context.

Local

Local tutor brings Indonesian office case studies directly applicable.

Britemy pick

Local more actionable for daily practice. Native for Western scenario exposure.

Fee and consistency
Native

Fee 1.5-2x local. Timezone issue if native abroad.

Local

Affordable fee, flexible evening/weekend sessions.

Britemy pick

For 3-6 month intensive program, local more sustainable in ROI.

Britemy Pick

Britemy default recommends certified local tutor + MNC corporate experience for business English. After you're solid, periodic native sessions (say 2x per month) to polish accent and Western cultural context. For roles needing full-native exposure, request tutor rotation.

Britemy transparent: native tutor fee higher. We do not force you to use native if your goal can be achieved with local + periodic combination.

Process Promise

Britemy Service Promises for Professional Writers

We avoid promising that you will write like a native within a set number of months. What Britemy commits to is a serious coaching process and a tutor who walks alongside every document.

  • Free tutor change if the fit is off

If after two sessions the tutor's style feels out of tune, our team finds a replacement at no extra cost. Style fit matters for a long writing journey.

  • Written feedback after the session

After every session the tutor sends notes with evaluation points and follow-up tasks. The notes become a progress trail you can reopen before writing the next document.

  • Flexible rescheduling

Sudden deadlines and meetings are office realities. Schedule changes are allowed six hours before a session with no credit deducted from your monthly package.

  • Confidentiality of work documents

The drafts you bring to a session are treated as confidential. The Britemy team keeps your work information private in line with professional ethics.
