Britemy Signature

Running Corporate Training That Is Measurable

Britemy Corporate Training is built for companies that demand accountability for training budgets. We carry the discipline of needs assessment, placement testing, and progress reporting normally found in global training vendors.

The most common failure mode for in-house corporate English training is a vendor curriculum copy-pasted across every client. Britemy closes that gap through a serious needs assessment and modular curriculum per department, so every training batch touches the team's real problems in a specific way.

1

Structured needs assessment

HR interviews, participant focus groups, and analysis of work documents such as email and slides are conducted before the curriculum is drafted. The output is a clear map of needs that is defensible to the board of directors.

2

CEFR placement test

A 20 to 30 minute test that measures listening, reading, and a short speaking task, mapped to CEFR A1 through C1. The result becomes the basis for group formation and realistic level-advancement targets.

3

Modular curriculum per function

Sales teams practise pitch and closing, engineering explains technical spec, finance presents numbers. The curriculum is designed modularly so it can be combined across departmental needs.

4

HR-friendly progress reports

The monthly report format follows the habits of corporate HR who need a short summary plus supporting data. There is a group progress dashboard and per-participant detail in a single document ready to bring to management.

Standard Corporate Training stages
  1. Batch 1Needs assessment plus placement test
  2. Batch 2Regular class sessions plus individual micro coaching
  3. Batch 3Monthly progress review for HR and L and D
  4. Batch 4Final programme evaluation and follow-up recommendations

The programme runs in batches of three to six months depending on team scale. Companies may extend through a follow-on batch based on the evaluation.

Programme Credentials

Britemy Standards for In-House Company Programmes

Britemy Corporate Training is run by a team fluent in the discipline of global training vendors. We bring transparency on tutor credentials, tidy reporting, and compliance with your company's governance.

  • Tutors certified in TESOL or CELTA

Most Corporate Britemy tutors hold TESOL or CELTA, two international qualifications for adult English classes.

  • Compliance with corporate governance

We are ready to adjust NDAs, invoice patterns, and other vendor documents to your procurement policies, including state-owned enterprises with ministerial rules.

  • MNC and state-owned client portfolio

Britemy tutors have delivered in-house classes for local and multinational companies across industries, carrying corporate class experience into your programme.

  • Reports grounded in CEFR metrics

All progress reports reference CEFR, the global English level standard, so the language of the report stays consistent with international benchmarks.

Britemy does not claim to be an official CEFR certification body. We prepare participants using the CEFR framework as a level map and reporting language.

Method

How Britemy Runs Corporate Training

Britemy's corporate English training method for Indonesian companies begins with a map of team needs, redesigned specifically for your business context. Every training batch runs modularly per department.

01

Team needs assessment

Before classes begin, the Britemy team meets HR or L and D to map the business objectives of the training, the average participant level, and the most challenging work situations. A short sample interview with participants makes sure the curriculum lands on real problems.

02

Group CEFR placement test

All candidate participants take a 20 to 30 minute placement test to map their CEFR level. The result becomes the basis for grouping into batches of 4 to 8 employees so that participants learn at matching levels and class discussion flows.

03

Custom curriculum per department

Sales teams practise pitch and closing, finance teams practise presenting numbers, engineering teams practise explaining technical spec to non-technical stakeholders. Modular curriculum is designed differently for each department based on the assessment.

04

Hybrid small-group sessions

Sessions run for 60 minutes with groups of 4 to 8 employees, online through Zoom or in person at the company office. The hybrid format is chosen so every participant has enough speaking time while staying efficient for the training budget.

05

Individual micro coaching

Every two weeks, participants who need extra attention receive a 30-minute private session with the tutor. This coaching touches areas that are hard to discuss in a group, for example confidence with senior leaders or a recurring pronunciation issue.

06

Regular HR progress reports

Each month HR receives a compact per-participant report: starting level, strengthening points, areas that need attention, and recommendations for the following month. The report becomes material for reviewing the effectiveness of the annual training budget.

Britemy does not train you to mimic a native accent. What we train: sounds that cause miscommunication (thin becoming tin, ship becoming sheep). After 20-30 consistent sessions, these distinctions become natural.

Native vs Local

Native or Local Tutor for Your Business English?

For multinational professionals, tutor choice depends on your role and interactions. Here is honest per-dimension comparison so you can choose with proper judgment.

Accent for global clients
Native

Truly native accent. Fits if you often deal with US/UK/AU HQ.

Local

Clean international accent. Overseas MBA alumni are equivalent.

Britemy pick

Native if executive role daily communication with HQ. Local sufficient for managerial role with mixed expats.

Business vocabulary and idiom
Native

Ex-corporate native understands vocab and business idiom naturally.

Local

MNC/MBA alumni local tutor can break down vocab to Indonesian context with local case studies.

Britemy pick

Native to polish natural idiom. Local for vocab applicable in your context.

Meeting facilitation nuance
Native

Native understands Western meeting dynamics: turn-taking, disagreement etiquette, humor timing.

Local

Local tutor can bridging: when to respect Indonesian colleague, when direct with expat.

Britemy pick

Both fit. Choose based on your target audience: HQ vs mixed local team.

Cultural sensitivity
Native

Native varies. Some understand Indonesian context well, some do not.

Local

Local tutor understands Indonesian work culture and can bridge to Western norms.

Britemy pick

Local for bridging role. Native for full immersion Western culture.

Case study and roleplay
Native

Native brings Western case studies that may be abstract for your context.

Local

Local tutor brings Indonesian office case studies directly applicable.

Britemy pick

Local more actionable for daily practice. Native for Western scenario exposure.

Fee and consistency
Native

Fee 1.5-2x local. Timezone issue if native abroad.

Local

Affordable fee, flexible evening/weekend sessions.

Britemy pick

For 3-6 month intensive program, local more sustainable in ROI.

Britemy Pick

Britemy default recommends certified local tutor + MNC corporate experience for business English. After you're solid, periodic native sessions (say 2x per month) to polish accent and Western cultural context. For roles needing full-native exposure, request tutor rotation.

Britemy transparent: native tutor fee higher. We do not force you to use native if your goal can be achieved with local + periodic combination.

Pertanyaan Umum

Questions HR Asks Us Most

How long does a corporate training batch usually run?
Batches typically run three to six months, depending on team scale and competency targets. Companies with leadership teams that need confidence in regional meetings usually choose a six-month batch with a mid-programme evaluation. Staff teams with lighter targets can complete the programme in three months. We discuss the optimal duration after the initial needs assessment.
How does the needs assessment work?
The needs assessment runs through three stages: an HR or L and D interview to understand business objectives, a short focus group with a sample of participants to capture the voice from the field, and analysis of work documents such as email or slides that represent communication challenges. The output is a compact document that describes the programme scope, target levels, and success indicators. The process usually completes in one to two weeks.
Is the curriculum really different per department?
Yes. Sales practises pitch and closing, engineering explains technical spec, finance presents numbers. We design a modular curriculum that can be combined across functions. The communication foundation section stays consistent, while the advanced modules are tuned so participants feel the material lands on their daily work.
Can tutors visit the company office?
Yes. We provide an in-person format at the company office, especially for executive groups or teams based at a single location. The online format remains available for teams spread across cities or offices. Some companies choose a blended approach: in person for executives and online for staff, tuned to HR needs.
What if an employee needs a TOEIC score?
Britemy focuses on Corporate Communication for real workplace use. For formal test preparation such as TOEIC, TOEFL, or IELTS, sometimes required for promotion or overseas assignment, we direct you to Exademy, our test-prep partner brand that specialises in score strategy. If the company needs both tracks, we coordinate across the brands.
How does Britemy handle procurement compliance for state-owned enterprises or large companies?
We are ready to adjust NDAs, invoice patterns, and vendor documents to your procurement policies, including state-owned enterprises with ministerial rules. The Britemy admin team has handled vendor onboarding for local and multinational companies, so the administrative process runs cleanly across the batch.
Can the progress report follow our HR format?
Yes. Our default format is a per-participant summary plus a team dashboard in a single document. If your company has a specific training report format, we can adjust the template to stay consistent with your internal HR system. The format is discussed at the contract kickoff.

Small groups keep every participant's speaking time meaningful. Participants learn from roleplays with colleagues while the format stays efficient per head of budget.

Custom curriculum per department

The sales module differs from the engineering module. We design a modular curriculum that responds to the real work problems of each function without forcing a single template.

Monthly HR progress reports

Each month HR receives a compact per-participant report plus a team dashboard. The report is easy to bring to the board when reviewing annual training budget effectiveness.

Hybrid online or in-person format

Sessions in person at the company office or online through Zoom, tuned to HR preferences and employee locations. Some companies choose in-person for executives and online for staff.

Corporate procurement compliance

We are ready to adjust NDAs, invoice patterns, and vendor documents to your procurement policies, including state-owned enterprises with ministerial rules. The process stays tidy and accountable.

Tutors experienced in corporate classes

Tutors are curated from those who have coached in-house teams across industries. They understand the dynamics of large companies, from scheduling bureaucracy to the sensitivity of work topics.

Regular individual micro coaching

Participants who need extra attention receive a 30-minute individual session every two weeks. This touches difficult areas that are uncomfortable to discuss in a group with colleagues.

How to Start

Four Steps to Begin Britemy Corporate Training

The flow is structured and transparent. Four stages: HR discussion on WhatsApp, needs assessment, contract execution, and programme kickoff.

  1. Step 1Discuss your needs on WhatsApp

Send a message to Britemy at 628164896937 with the team scale, industry, and competency targets. The admin team summarises the needs and schedules the needs-assessment meeting.

  2. Step 2Needs assessment and proposal

We run a two-week concise needs assessment and then build a proposal covering the custom curriculum, schedule, and budget estimate per department.

  3. Step 3Contract and vendor onboarding

After the proposal is approved, we complete the NDA, invoice setup, and vendor documents aligned with your company procurement policies.

  4. Step 4Kickoff and running sessions

The kickoff meeting explains the programme flow to participants, then the placement test runs. Class sessions proceed on schedule with monthly reports to HR.
